Lennox Lewis was the most complete heavyweight of his era, perhaps of any era. At 6'5" with a ramrod jab that kept opponents at the end of a very long arm, he combined size, skill, and genuine one-punch knockout power in a package that ultimately proved too much for everyone. He beat Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, and Vitali Klitschko — three generations of heavyweight contenders, dismantled one by one. The two losses on his record, to Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman, were both avenged emphatically. He won Olympic gold for Canada in 1988, then became undisputed heavyweight champion as a professional representing Britain. The British-Jamaican-Canadian champion retired on top, something almost no heavyweight manages, walking away after the Klitschko victory with nothing left to prove.
